Who is responsible

The controller is Dmitry Andronchik, the developer of AulaToon, based in Spain. You can reach him at [email protected].

What we collect

• Your email address.
• Whether you want to join the beta or only hear about the launch.
• Your role (parent or guardian, teacher or tutor, other adult) and the region you live in.
• For the beta only: your phone platform (Android or iPhone) and, if you choose to share it, your learner’s age group (7–9, 10–13 or 14–16).
• The language of the page you signed up on, your confirmation that you are 18 or older, the date of your consent and the version of this notice.
• Whether and when you confirmed your email address with the link we send you (of the link’s code we keep only a one-way fingerprint).
• A pseudonymous code derived from your IP address with a secret key, used only to limit how many sign-ups one connection can send per hour and deleted after 24 hours.

We never ask for a child’s name, exact age, school, photo or contact details. Please don’t send them.

Why we use it

To check that the email address is yours: we send an email with a confirmation link, and until you confirm it we send you nothing else.

To invite you to the beta and send you test instructions, or to email you when AulaToon launches in your region, and to plan which countries and phones to support first. We do not send newsletters or advertising, and we do not sell or share your details with advertisers.

Legal basis

Your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time by emailing [email protected]; this does not affect anything we did before you withdrew.

Who processes it for us

Supabase stores the sign-up list. Resend (Resend, Inc., USA) sends the confirmation email and processes your email address to do so. Our web host delivers the website and processes technical request data, such as your IP address, to do so. Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area under appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

If you don’t confirm your email address within 7 days of our last confirmation email, we delete your sign-up. Beta sign-ups are deleted no later than 30 days after the final beta follow-up. Launch sign-ups are deleted no later than 30 days after we send the launch email for your region, and in any case within 12 months of signing up. You can ask us to delete your sign-up sooner at any time.

If someone signs up with your email address, ignore our email: without confirmation the sign-up is deleted. Until you confirm, sending the form again replaces your previous answers (we send at most three confirmation emails per address). Once confirmed, the form never changes your sign-up: to change your choice, write to [email protected].

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your details, restrict or object to their use, or receive a copy, by emailing [email protected]. You can also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD, www.aepd.es) or to the supervisory authority of the country where you live.

Cookies

This website uses no cookies, analytics or third-party trackers. If you close the language suggestion, your browser remembers that choice locally; it is never sent to us. The confirmation page keeps the code from your link in that browser tab until you confirm or close the tab.
